How to get your blog cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI search
AI assistants answer with a handful of cited sources. Being one of them is the new front page. This guide uses Deskine.com's AI Visibility feature (Business plan) alongside a few site-level basics.
1. Register the topics you want to own
In AI Visibility add the questions or topics your readers ask. Be specific — “best budget espresso grinder under $200” beats “coffee”.
2. Run a visibility check
Deskine.com performs a grounded AI search for each topic and records whether your domain is among the cited sources, along with the pages that are.
3. Study the cited sources
Look at the format and depth of what gets cited: comparison tables, first-hand tests, clear definitions. AI engines favour pages that answer directly and can be quoted.
4. Write the suggested post
Each check ends with concrete suggestions. Send one into a new article, keep the direct-answer structure, and include specific facts from your knowledge base.
5. Make your site crawlable by AI bots
Allow AI crawlers in robots.txt, add structured data (FAQ, Article) and consider an llms.txt file. Re-run the check a few weeks after publishing to measure the change.
